Community Events

These Chamber-sponsored events help bring the community together, but they cannot happen without the community. Beyond pure logistical support, volunteers bring a unique atmosphere of community involvement, ownership, and fun to the events. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! There is invaluable work to be done by volunteers of all ages and skill levels.

Want to get involved but don't know where to start? Join us at a meeting or contact us and let us know what you are interested in.

The Downtown Festival is the Belle Plaine Chamber of Commerce's annual fundraiser. Funds raised by the festival help support events like the 4th of July Celebration, the Halloween Parade, the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, lights downtown during the holidays, scholarships, local organizations, and school projects, along with so much more.

Christmas Celebration

The annual Christmas Celebration is a great community event for all ages. A fundraising dinner and a visit by Santa Claus inside the warm Community Center. Outside, the tree lighting and celebrating the lights downtown. The Historical Museum and Library take part downtown offering treats and activities.
